According to the full saying, “Beer before liquor, never sicker. Liquor before beer, you’re in the clear.” Do you buy it?
People hoping to avoid feeling the ill effects of alcohol the day after drinking have repeated this one for decades, believing it’s harder on your system to start with beer before moving on to drinks with a higher alcohol content. That doesn’t mean some people still don’t believe it, however.
