The ’50s are synonymous with “oldies,” the ’60s brought us the Beatles, disco reigned supreme in the ’70s, and the ’80s arguably crowned the King and Queen of Pop.

And while this one most likely correlates to when you grew up — do any of us ever love any music more than the artists we listened to as teenagers? — plenty of folks feel closer to the hits of yesteryear. Each of these decades is great in its own way, but each is also incomplete. Choose wisely.
