Few of us can honestly say we like hearing someone else’s dream recounted in detail, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they’re meaningless.

Sometimes they’re so random, though, that it’s hard to ascribe any spiritual or psychological significance to them — and who knows what to glean from a recurring dream in which you show up to school in your underwear. We’re no longer in school and we’ve never shown up anywhere in just our skivvies accidentally. But even if dreams do mean something, the answer thus becomes what they mean — and that’s even harder to figure out. Maybe it’s time to start a dream journal.
