There’s a good chance your car windows fog up all the time in winter. There’s an even better chance you can never remember how to defog them.

According to most experts, you’re actually supposed to use both — first the heat, then the air conditioning. You then turn off the recirculation button and, if it’s not too cold and/or snowy, crack the windows for a few minutes. But some of us are set in our ways and have our own methods that we’re sure are better than those prescribed by so-called experts.
