Some people say you’re late if you aren’t five minutes early. Others, not so much.
And while the occasional tardiness can be forgiven, making it a habit is a good way of annoying your friends, family, and anyone else who finds themself waiting for you to show up on a regular basis. Some people adjust by telling their late-arriving friends that events start earlier than they actually do, but do you really want to be that person? On the other hand, arriving early means you more often have to wait around for everyone else to show up. Maybe everyone should just start arriving perfectly on time.
