Conventional wisdom tells us we’re supposed to get eight hours a night, but how we sleep is a matter of personal preference. What’s yours?
Stomach sleepers get points for resembling babies slumbering without a care in the world, whereas back sleepers would appear to have the advantage when it comes to falling asleep anywhere (movie theaters, airplanes, and so on). Side sleepers, meanwhile, are best equipped to enjoy the many benefits of sleeping with a pillow between their knees. And while it’s doubtful that most of us made an active decision as to how we sleep best — doesn’t it just come naturally? — that’s no reason not to extoll the virtues of one over another.
