Cheaters never prosper, as the saying goes, but they might get better grades on their algebra test.
Not that they’re likely to be proud of having done so. Even so, there’s a distinction to be made between those who make a habit of bending the rules and those who did so once, felt terrible, and never did it again. Integrity is important, especially when you realize you’ve made a mistake that you’d rather not repeat. And while some tests are more important than others, most would agree that honesty is the best policy.
