We often think of vacations as shared experiences, but there’s nothing wrong with a solo journey.
The advantages speak for themselves — not having to coordinate logistics with another person is surely nice, to say nothing of never arguing over the daily itinerary — even if some of us might get lonesome halfway across the world without a significant other or friend by our side. Those who are more independent likely have no such problem and relish in the opportunity to meet new people wherever they go. Those of us who like to share experiences would prefer someone to try delicacies with, however.
