A recent study found the four-day workweek so effective that 91% of companies involved plan to keep it. What’s more, 15% of employees who took part in the pilot program said “no amount of money” would convince them to go back to working five days a week.
Are there any downsides at all? According to the study, not really — everything from worker happiness to revenue increased. Some people on both ends of the employer/employee equation remain unconvinced, however, as old habits die hard and many believe that traditions are traditions for a reason.
