We all have to put on our shoes and socks before we leave for the day, but that doesn’t mean we all have to do it the same way.
People who leave their shoes by the front door and don’t wear them inside the house are more likely to opt for the sock-sock-shoe-shoe method, while those who prefer to leave their feet liberated until the last possible moment may go the sock-shoe-sock-shoe route. At least both of them make more sense than shoe-shoe-sock-sock or shoe-sock-shoe-sock.
