If you aren’t a fan of that approach, you may roll your eyes when you see that your bestie has sent you a voice note that will take a minute or longer to listen to — who’s got time for all that? Texting etiquette is no less nuanced, as some prefer to send one big message and others opt to fire off several short ones in a row. There’s also voice-to-text, but that almost always results in a few transcription errors that you have to manually fix, which takes nearly as much time as simply sending a text. Maybe traditional phone calls aren’t so bad after all.
