We all have to get clean somehow. Washcloths can feel a bit gentler on the skin, but they also get waterlogged pretty much immediately and require more frequent washing themselves; loofahs are the hardier option, but not everyone can handle their rough texture. Some folks prefer that roughness, feeling it does a better job of keeping them clean, but it really is a dealbreaker for many. If you’re the type to sort of just stand there in the shower and hope that a combination of water, soap, and gravity will do the trick, there’s a good chance you don’t like washcloths *or* loofahs.
