Given how passionately some feel about the issue, the answer would appear to be yes. Wetting your toothbrush first maintains the structural integrity of the toothpaste, ensuring it isn’t any wetter than necessary; putting the toothpaste on first, meanwhile, could be said to produce a better lather that spreads more evenly across those ever-important molars. At least there’s no flossing technique to debate — or is there?
