That old saying tells us it’s breakfast, but not all conventional wisdom is true to lived experience.

Beyond the fact that some people don’t have much of an appetite until later in the day, others simply don’t like breakfast food — there’s less variety compared to other meals. And while a big lunch has its appeal, it has also led to many an afternoon slump. As for dinner, there’s nothing quite like a satisfying meal at the end of the day — unless your digestive system is slow, in which case you could be dealing with acid reflux as you try to fall asleep.
