Being the smartest person could lead to many financial opportunities, but being rich wouldn’t necessarily make you smarter — unless you used some of that money to become a perpetual student, that is, but how many people would actually use their untold riches on higher education? But if you want a life of leisure, one where you can lounge on a boat during the day and dine at the best restaurants at night, why wouldn’t you take the money?
